DeWitt earned his undergraduate degree at Ohio Wesleyan University and his graduate degree at the University of Virgina. Following ten years in school administration he joined Hilliard Lyons as a financial advisor and welcomed the Baird / Hilliard Lyons merger in 2019 with Baird’s advanced planning and asset management resources. DeWitt is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and has been providing wealth management services since 1992, but he never stopped being a teacher at heart and enjoys helping his clients become ever more knowledgeable about their resources and abilities.
In 2003, DeWitt earned the Chartered Wealth Advisor designation by successfully completing the proprietary course of study developed by Hilliard Lyons in conjunction with the Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University.
DeWitt and his wife have adult triplet daughters. Time with family and friends have always been his first priority. He also enjoys weekend rides on his motorcycle, playing hockey, skiing, and reading suspense novels in his downtime.
